Today was normal, TYGIF. [Thank Your Girlfriend[s] it's Friday~]
I'll post a bit longer once I get back from the hospital. I've just has these quotes glaring at me almost a full 24 hours~
[then Spock ARRIVES and Jim decides to WOO HIM AS PER BONES' SUGGESTION AHAHAHAHAHAH and Bones freaking out when he realizes who it is and convincing their parents to let them go on A DATE alasjfdhlasdfsda JIM YOU ARE WOOING A VULCAN AT AGE 11 YOU CASANOVA.]
There is some comfort in dying surrounded by one's children.
Spock took this as his cue to progress from Jim's neck to nibbling his left ear. Perfect time for Chekov and a gaggle of young women (he definitely didn't recognize these; local girls crashing a Starfleet crew party?) passed them: they almost walked by without noticing, but at the last minute Chekov did a double take, eyes widened to saucers, and with all caution thrown to the wind he raced off yelling for Sulu.
"What? But that's impossible! Didn't you say that Vulcans don't get drunk?"
"We don't," Spock slurred, "and we don't lie. Ha! That's bullshit! We lie all the time!"
ALGEBRA IS DA NEW LANGUAGE~
WELL, OBVIOUSLY THERE'S A RAPIST IN THE CUL-DE-SAC. SHE'S CLIMBIN' IN YO BASEMENTS, SNATCHIN' YO EDDBOYS UP. TRYNA RAPE 'IM SO YALL NEEDTA, HIDE YO ED, HIDE YO EDDY, AND HIDE YO DOUBLE DEE CAUSE SHE'S RAPIN' E'REONE UP IN HERE.
"In charge? That accusation implies that you-" Vulcan-Spock quiets himself with effort, and Kirk finds this preposterously sexy. "You are always like this, you know. Sitting in the back of my mind, quietly pushing me towards the brink of insanity."
"Insanity?" cries human-Spock, his indignation producing spastic hand gestures. "The brink of fun! You have such a great sense of humor but you're always like, 'Hurr, let's go enforce the rules, hurr.' You even ignore the awesome science we find sometimes in order to-I don't even know! Be logical and shit!"
There is a time and a place?
"You see, that's the thing; everyone keeps telling me I deserve better, but no one is willing to give it to me."
