This wins. For
desperatefans people - or non people, I'm making a meme out of it, behind the cut, bolding the ones that are true.
1) ... you feel the urge to call people Mademoiselle or Monsiuer (even if none of your puppets are French)
2) ... you spend all your free time in the chat room/on the site. (And even some of your not-so free time.) You have stayed in chat for more than 12 hours at a time.
3) ... you snicker at the thought/mention/sight of oranges.
4) ... you find yourself constantly arguing with your puppet. And your puppet started it.
5) ... you have a rather large reading list now. You push everything else off your reading list, so that you can get better acquainted with other peoples' characters.
6) ... you are sad that strike-outs don’t work on messaging programs (at least, not without a lot of effort).
7) ... you were sad when Lag came along and killed AIM Chat, but then happy when the Zombie Chat came back through IRC.
8) ... you actually know what I mean by most of the things on this list.
9) ... you want to apply examples of DF to real life, and have done so.
10) ... you start quoting DF characters and chats in daily life.
11) ... you are more concerned about the relationship your character has with another character rather than your homework.
12) ... you talk about events that happened here to people in real life, as if it has actually happened and is a monumental event.
13) ... you can't fall asleep at night because your brain is buzzing about DF.
14) ... you drink lots and lots of caffeine so that you can stay up in the DF chat all night. Even with finals/tests the next day.
