That is true...I didn't really register that, I guess. But I dunno, she doesn't so much bug me as I'm just not interested in her, in a lot of ways? I don't find her POVs intriguing and I'm not attracted to her very much as a character. Though her little anniversary bit with Perrin was sweet, I'll give her that. Maybe I'm just a hardass unwilling to change my mind.
XD Yes, and owning the gholam period, really - that thing has been around forever, just being a pest, and god I'm glad it was finally gotten rid of. And yeah, I'm relieved that Sanderson kind of worked out whatever his issue was with Mat last book and figured it out a bit more this book. I expect next book to just be even better on that front.
I really am interested to see more of his headvoice after seeing others perspectives, personally...but yeah, I think maybe I've just been craving a face to face between Rand and all of the people he used to know - eg Egwene, Mat, Perrin for just about ever, and finally getting it was good enough for me. Though I expect to see more of a facedown next book.

Yeah, I wonder what will happen with Mesaana. I guess I don't expect she'll be brought back, just because it would feel very last minute...but I guess because I think that way doesn't mean it won't happen. I suppose we will see, more mysteries...
