Lesstrythis. I need something fun.

Ask any of my puppets a question in comments and they will answer you, in character. Crack ensues. It's fun. For an example, more or less, of how this works, see this post.I still need to post a couple fanmixes that have been done for ages and I'm just putting off. Lolsigh, I'm lazy ( Read more... )

Dork girl asks dork questions. umihebizanomiko December 11 2009, 06:22:36 UTC
Melisande-- If you could have a good battle of wits with anyone at all, who would it be? I keep having fangirlish crossover daydreams of you and Petyr Baelish.

Robespierre-- Obviously you were willing to do a lot to change the regime in France. But did the actual events of the French Revolution go too far, even for you?

Felix-- How do you deal with the fact that pretty much all of the good things in your life--e.g. Joline, magical education that passed for non-heretical, being a Cabaline, Mildmay, Gideon, the Khloidanikos--would never have happened without the horror that was your keeper and Lorenzo and Malkar?

...define 'battle of wits.' Is this purely for entertainment, or is there something important at stake? And who is this Baelish character, would I like him?

But I suppose either way, I would enjoy a battle of wits with anyone intelligent to conduct themselves without resorting to any - ham-handed measures, and those persons have been far too few of late. I have not actually met any in some time.

I wonder that often, if you two would hit it off splendidly or tear each other to shreds. I guess, though, it depends on whether or not you'd like competition if you revived your game of thrones. He doesn't do too bad at that kind of thing.

I only ask because I get the distinct impression that no one was really a match for you in the taking over Terre D'Ange bit. Phèdre and Ysandre are intelligent women, but they seemed to get lucky more than anything.

Well, what would be best, of course, would be to play as allies against everyone else, and when the time came I would have plenty of time to take his feet out from under him. I'm sure I would win, after all. He may be skilled, but he can hardly be a match for me.

I do hate luck for that. I feel the same way, often. Life is so dull when no one truly makes any real worthy effort to foil things, especially when you have them planned as well as I have...

It was not, or did not become, what I intended.

Must I talk to you? I am not feeling particularly conversational. And am still rather irritated with that girl for bringing me up at all.

I'm almost tempted to say yes, but if talking to me is that painful... XD;

It is not you, per se, only that I am not particularly sociable lately. But if you truly wish. Did you have more you wanted to know?

You again.

I don't think about it and I am not talking to you. I find your questions awfully tactless and inconsiderate. You ought to do something about that, you know. Someone might find you offensive, and wouldn't that be terrible.

Do you even know what dork means? umihebizanomiko December 11 2009, 23:52:12 UTC
Me again.

I was invited to ask anything and did. Unfortunately most any question that can be directed towards you is either inane or prying. Or related to thaumaturgy, in which case I have no reason to ask and likely wouldn't understand the answer anyway.

No, does that matter? Petty details, madame. skewedeyes December 12 2009, 00:28:15 UTC
---oh, sigh. All right, if you must. Only because my day has been altogether too quiet. I would be much more willing to answer those types of questions, but unfortunately you are probably correct.

As long as you don't mention dancing or bears or whatever it was, last time.

But I was telling the truth. I try not to - ah - think about - things as much as possible. It's healthier, isn't it? What's that inane saying again...

The wild difference in denotations is kind of interesting, actually. umihebizanomiko December 12 2009, 01:06:42 UTC
Much as I'm sure you like getting questions about why your hair is so pretty, and it is, I've already seen the answer and it does me no good.

And unless you're thinking of "Least said, soonest mended," I haven't a clue.

I'd ask you about something else if I could, but anything along the lines of literature, history, or politics is a little hard given the lack of cultural context on both sides.

I beg your pardon? skewedeyes December 12 2009, 02:35:10 UTC
I told you, I submit to your embarrassing, inane questions, much as I dislike them. Please do go ahead so I can get this over with and go back to my brooding important business.

...however. If you ask any questions about - people I reserve the right to leave in a huff withdraw my presence, is that clear?

You're cute when you sulk.

If given the chance to take back one thing you've done, which would that be? And why that one over anything else?

It's a good thing I'm not sulking, then, isn't it?

...one thing? That is awfully personal - but easy, all the same. I wish I had treated Gideon better. Or cut it off earlier, at least. He didn't - well, 'deserve to die' sounds awfully trite, doesn't it? But it is what I mean, I suppose.

... So... Stephen? umihebizanomiko December 13 2009, 19:55:06 UTC
You're often sulking.

And yes, but I abided by your condition. I suppose I wonder at how that's easy, but... I'll quit. For now.

Thank you.
