Hand of Sorrow introduces the conflict he faces between aiding his family and staying true to his vows with the Night's Watch, while October and My December reflect the rejection he felt from that family due to his bastard status. Hallelujah is dedicated to his feelings on his betrayal of the vows at the order of Qhorin. This section ends with Put Your Lights On, for Jon's determination to lead the Night's Watch well and truly.

In Heroes and Thieves she laments the loss of her simple worldview, seeking someone to restore some of her faith (as in Somebody and Holding Out for a Hero). In Nobody's Home, her wishes to return to the way things used to be are expressed, but with the awareness that such a return is impossible. The last four songs express her feelings of loneliness (Eva), sadness (Paradise) as well as her confusion for finding herself alone in the world.

This section opens with Bran Stark wishing for a miracle in Stare At the Sun, lamenting the unfairness of his fate as a cripple left without family in the north, again echoed later in Pale when he hears of his father's death. In Perfect Harmony tells of his fascination with the children of the forest, while Across the Universe of Time expresses his learning of the 'third eye' and his beginnings at opening it. In Overcome and Snow, he flees the burning Winterfell but with the assurance that it is 'just broken, not dead' - and We Could Have Flown Like Pollen expresses his determination to see things through and make things better, despite the odds that have flung his family from the heights.

In When I Grow Up some of that selfsame savagery and wildness shows up, though still largely innocent. However, in Living After Midnight and Dark Waltz Arya's propensity for darkness shows up and as 'The Ghost in Harrenhal' she embarks on the road that leads her to Braavos. Girl With No Eyes is Arya's counterpoint to her more innocent sister's "White Bird." Nemo is about her training as a Faceless Man and her supposed attempt to become not Arya Stark but someone else. However, this is thwarted by her anger and lust for revenge (Liar and Medusa) for the people who betrayed her and her family. In The Ocean Is Your Voice, some of her youth and fragility shows, just slightly. This section ends with I Am.

This section opens with Bran Stark wishing for a miracle in Stare At the Sun, lamenting the unfairness of his fate as a cripple left without family in the north, again echoed later in Pale when he hears of his father's death. In Perfect Harmony tells of his fascination with the children of the forest, while Across the Universe of Time expresses his learning of the 'third eye' and his beginnings at opening it. In Overcome and Snow, he flees the burning Winterfell but with the assurance that it is 'just broken, not dead' - and We Could Have Flown Like Pollen expresses his determination to see things through and make things better, despite the odds that have flung his family from the heights.

MOVEMENT V: THE LITTLE WOLF ARYA STARK
DOWNLOAD HERE, .ZIP FILEArya Stark, the youngest on this FST and perhaps the craziest, opens her mix with The Show Must Go On, for her determination and sheer stubbornness in refusing to stop fighting and to do anything to survive. In When I Grow Up some of that selfsame savagery and wildness shows up, though still largely innocent. However, in Living After Midnight and Dark Waltz Arya's propensity for darkness shows up and as 'The Ghost in Harrenhal' she embarks on the road that leads her to Braavos. Girl With No Eyes is Arya's counterpoint to her more innocent sister's "White Bird." Nemo is about her training as a Faceless Man and her supposed attempt to become not Arya Stark but someone else. However, this is thwarted by her anger and lust for revenge (Liar and Medusa) for the people who betrayed her and her family. In The Ocean Is Your Voice, some of her youth and fragility shows, just slightly. This section ends with I Am.

Lullabye for A Stormy Night and Godspeed express her desire to keep her children safe and sheltered from all the storms of the world, but in Ghost in This House and My Only My Own she expresses her sense of loss at the absence of her children as they die or vanish one by one, leading ultimately to her madness and death.

Eddard Stark's movement, the final movement of this (so to speak) symphony, begins with What Have You Done where he admits his culpability for the disastrous events that led to the War of the Five Kings and the devastation of his children. In Wake Me Up When September Ends his weariness immediately prior to his death is palpable, much as In Like a Lion (Always Winter) where winter has come for the Stark family. He gains some desperation in The Artist in the Ambulance and finally asks the old gods where they have gone during his hour of need (Abandoned).
