update
I am doing good for the time being... Really excited about seeing Mishka, Doug and Cody this weekend! I am opening new channels, and trying to either force open or close old significant channels. I know that this time will be a huge trancendent step for me, and I'm hoping that all those who are supposed to be aboard are! However, only half the effort can be mine, if you know what I mean. A lot of things are coming up to keep me busy in many of the months leading up to my departure from this place... Next month, my grandma (and possibly, my uncle) is coming to visit, in October I will be crashing for a few days in New York (with Eric and Alex!) to attend my best friend's wedding, I may just do another veg Thanksgiving in November (and the first black President of the US will be elected! Holy crap!), keeping busy with holidays, the new year and my Birthday, and then spring will roll around just in time for me to have an amazing Holi-themed going away shindig... I'm really happy that time will be going by quickly, and I'll be back where I belong.
And the people I've met along the way... The lessons about physicality and loss learned through someone who shall remain nameless, the anything goes love (where I can feel free to be as crazy as I am and say what I want!) of people like Rebecca, Levi, Ann, and Chaya, the deep connections (David, Red, etc) that will continue far after I leave this place, the friends who are going to end up near me that I'll actually be able to visit often (David, Kent, Kate, Travis), and those I may even take with me! (Margen, Cat, Sarah)... I'm kind of bummed out I can't go to a party on Saturday with Chaya.
I'm so happy right now I could burst. I want only, to share this with you. So. Join in!
