Dawn of some Dead
I'm not big into Zombie movies (except Resident Evil, which I liked), since they seem to be very predicatable and without range. But Dawn was ok. I don't think I ever saw the original, but I feel like I have because these movies ARE all the same. But that's what people want. It wastes no time getting started and gives all the traditional things you need in such a movie as well as interesting characters. It had more dark humor than I expected too. There's gore (duh) and one particularly unpleasant scene wraps up before going too far overboard. Anyway, make sure you stay through the credits as there is more movie to be seen.
