Bristol and beyond

Last weekend was totally fan-fucking-tastic. Only 24 hours or so in Bristol, but it was amazing. Weather was great, people were great, drinking was great. I was already nursing one hangover before I even got there. Fortunately I always find riding the train helps that a lot... as opposed to the night before, where a night of severe drinking at Namco Arcade led me to feeling sick on the tube for the first time ever. But I'm diverting here...

Back in Bristol, I caught up with, well, ALL of my siblings who were at the party and a lot of old friends. Sadly no hot girls, but it was an 'exclusive' house party, i.e. no strays. So it was all cosy and good fun, the whole night. I was kinda sad to come back to London, just because everyone was sat by the river with beers as I left. But I couldn't drink a thing.

I've been trying to sort out my sleep for the week since then. Getting reasonably early nights, but fucking my tonsils up, probably due to too much smoking from too much drinking. I'm so unhealthy and it's really beginning to show on my body. I know I keep saying this, but I REALLY need to start taking more care of my body. Jogging, or whatever... I'm always so distracted by doing music or whatever. Actually written quite a lot of music lately, but back to sweet fuck all.

On Thursday I got a free showing of Iron Man and Leicester Square, as Sega did the video game, we all got to go as a perk. I actually thought Iron Man was pretty good actually... I want to be Tony Stark now.

Last night was cross birthday / leaving drinks - and me being a bit of a dumb shmuck, decided to stay the whole night with only two others. Going to the fair and riding the cups suddenly seemed like a GREAT idea with all those beers in our bellies... followed by eating at a Thai restaurant. So didn't exactly sleep well last night - but still made it for some overtime (I actually volunteered to do OT today as I'm now overdrawn again).

Tonight, I am going to a friend's gig in Shepherd's Bush (I'm sure more alcohol will be involved), and tomorrow I gotta be up early to turn my room upside down (beds on walls etc.) to record vocals for Alan's album... thank god I'm not the one doing the singing. I should be clearing my room for the event, but I can't be fucked to do anything... there's barely any visible floor to hoover anyway.
