It is true that in most things the hardest part is starting. It can also be true that once you've started, it's hard to keep going.
I used to take pride in the fact that I could ride my bicycle in all weather, at all times. I would ride in to work rain or shine. Then I move out of the center of town, and my bike collects dust, sometimes even on the nicest days, the "one less car" sticker an ironic reminder of my wussiness.
Tomorrow I'm riding in. I have a new wind-proof cycling jacket. The forecast is 44 degrees. The ground is mostly clear of snow. I have no excuses.
