on growing up (or growing down?)

Under Kaku-san's advice, I spent the afternoon reading through the entries and comments in this journal. While it's true that this journal's previous owner also called himself Kuroyanagi Ryou, and was also apparently traveling aboard this ship, I find little other resemblance. Even getting past the impossibility of simultaneous physical and mental ( Read more... )

Yeah I dunno. It makes me wish I could have known you when you were younger.

Heh. Well...if anything I was probably just more of an idiot.

Yeah but I bet you were cute as hell~ And you couldn't be as much of an idiot as I was at 12.

Ohhh yes I could have, trust me.

And I wasn't cute.

You can be badass and cute <3

...It might be easier to pick a time when I was twelve that I wasn't doing something stupid. I mean, it'd take a long time to think of one, but it'd be a lot shorter.

I was never cute.

Oh? Then I definitely have to hear some of these stories.

You're cute now so I don't believe you~

If we're telling embarrassing stories from our childhood, you have to go first.

...Am not.

Fine... so one time at 12 I stole a whole bunch of candy basically just 'cuz I good, so the ... people got all mad so I ran off into the forest and I didn't even eat the candy because I'd put it all back at the time (I'm not that much a candy fiend) and then I stayed out there in the rainstorms just 'cuz I was too stupid to go back home~ Which naturally led to pnuemonia. That month sucked. Your turn :P

Are so. Shall we ask Ipin?

Uh, well, I never got pneumonia, but I did try to run away once and hid in a cave for four days. And when they found me I bit three people and had to be tranquilized. Had a bitch of a headache that wouldn't go away. That was when I was eight, though.

Uhhh no.

And you don't think that's a mildly adorable story? I think it's cute <3

Let's see when I was 8 that was the first time I decided I was going to fly. I made my own hang-glider and jumped off the top of a church steeple. Yeaaaah I broke a few bones but I'm kind of lucky I didn't die or develop a fear of heights.

I don't know, mostly it was kind of traumatizing? If you say so, anyway.

When I was thirteen I broke my leg jumping out a window. 'Cause, uh, I was trying to figure out if I could engage Tekkai fast enough yet. ...I couldn't.

Maybe I have a warped definition of cute?

That might also be cute. Hmm what stupid stories do I have of 13... Oh! That was when I stole my first bike. I had to hotwire it, um that's taking apart some of the wiring to bypass the lock and yeah I crashed but I only got scraped up and I escaped ok...ish. Luckily no one found out it was me.
