Spring Break
I've just finished marathoning the first 2 seasons of the British series Misfits. It's quite graphic but also entertaining and addictive. Like many other people, I've fallen for the ridiculously attractive pairing of Simon/Alisha... so unexpected, but they are so right for each other. I hope it doesn't turn out like Glee where everyone gets paired with each other.
In other news:
I had a 2-day externship this spring where I had the unique privilege of witnessing a whole bunch of OB/GYN procedures such as a CVS, amniocentesis, and (wait for it) a live C-section. It was super bloody (which is standard for any type of surgery I suppose) but incredibly fascinating to watch. The experience was so, so worth the road-trip up to northern California.
As of now, spring break is almost over; I return to school tomorrow morning. I do wish it were a bit longer but I'm excited for the new quarter. It's gonna be busy busy busy.
