BNL@London
I have to say great job to the Ladies and London is an awesome town. London, Ontario that is. Went up there over the last weekend to see Barenaked Ladies with scardykat85. It was my first time seeing them as a 4 piece and my god was it good. You could really see they were having a lot of fun. It was an arena show, but it was a smallish arena and they had a smaller portion of it so it really felt like a nice intimate theatre show. They had some really kick ass stage lighting with 12 RGB LED panels that they showed video and pictures on. They did some really cool acoustic stuff and different set ups to feature different band member's stuff. Ed too over singing on a few songs that Steven used to sing. He really rocks "Old Apartment" and "It's All Been Done," even if he can't hit the highs. I kinda missed "Brian Wilson," but it's an understandable one to leave out, I'm not sure it would work without Steven.
London itself is great. Really nice friendly city with some nice stuff around. It was fun to walk around downtown and see the sites. I just wish the weather had been a bit better. I'd definitely like to head up that way again. It makes Condition much more tempting to know how nice the city is. It'd be a blast to suit around downtown! I even got in my compulsory trip to Swiss Chalet!
