So now we know where the 'tall' genes comes from. Lol
The last weekend was mostly spent with the relatives, Saturday evening for grandfather's 70th birthday and Sunday evening for wedding dinner. Haha, and if you have noticed, my grandparents don't appear in the same venue since they divorced ten years ago? Actually I think most of us really want to have family portrait which every single one of the family members is inside the picture, but I don't think this will be fulfilled in the near future. For some reason, I have been initiating to take pictures here and there during some of the family gatherings. Partly is to complete the family photo album which I've prepared for my grandparent's birthday. However, the main one will be that I realised as my grandparents grow older, we wouldn't know how much time we can have to share these joyous moments with them. And to me, the best memories is always kept in the heart, followed by photos which you can take it out to remind yourself of that special moments you had with your loved ones. People change but the smile and the memories in the picture don't.
The wedding dinner was held at one degree 15 marina club and we happened to see a double rainbow when we reached the place. This was like one of the most simple and "straight to the point" wedding which I have been. The opening of the dinner was really fast and before we realised it, the newly-wed has already cut the cake and moved on to their seats. Haha. Instead of having those 'traditional' baby, toddler, teenager photos, they had a short video which showed the tea ceremony, how the groom was sabotaged by the sisters and solemnization held earlier in the day. Nothing too fanciful but you can just feel the bliss and happiness of the newly-wed :)
