Temple Trip
Yesterday Kev and I went to the temple. It was a day of "comical errors". We got off to a "late" start, according to "my" clock.
Anyway, we got to the temple without any problem. I came out of the dressing room just behind Kev. We got ready to go into the waiting area and he realized that he HAD to go back because he didn't have some important information.
We were waiting, when one of the temple workers came in and asked how many English speaking were on the session. How many Spanish? He said he would go and see if they could change the session from Spanish to English. He came back later with LOTS of headsets and translators.....FOR THE ENGLISH SPEAKING.
When we got to the session room, there were people having problems with their translators...let's put it this way by the time it was over a session that "should" have lasted 1.5 hrs was closer to 2.5. It was one of those days were you better grin and chuckle because otherwise you would be MAJORLY unhappy....and it won't do anyone any good to be unhappy or upset.
It was a good day all around.
Got home in time to go to an open house for a young sister missionary who leaves on Tuesday next week. We were only 7 minutes later than I "wanted" to get there....It work out "perfect".
Today has been a very pleasant and quite day. Still "wrestling" with the wedding list. Trying to have the puter "color" mark the names for those that will be in St. George and all that goes with that part of the wedding. The silly puter WON'T let me do what I want it to...so back to the "old fashion way".....by hand of using a highlighter to mark the names that I need to......anyone want to "come" and help....(giggle)
Time to figure out "how many mints" to make....I don't "think" it will be as many as I made for Trish or Katie or any of the "cousins" in between. That will be my challenge is knowing that what I make will be "enough".......
That and we turned on the a/c downstairs...tis a "bit" warmer the last two days.....
