and since you don't have ads in your journal, you could try replacing the #header tag with:
#header{ color:#7fc890; font-size: 18px; text-transform: lowercase; position: absolute; top: 5px; width: 378px; padding-top: 5px;}

and the #sidebar tag with:
#sidebar{ font-size: 10px; position: absolute; top: 120px; text-transform: lowercase; width: 374px}

this way the header and sidebar will be aligned with the top of your journal. let me know if this works or if there are any problems!
