By that logic, I should have been able to wander around school grounds in a motorcycle helmet.

At a state school, religion should get left at the door, period. There's a dress code, and just because your Invisible Sky-Bully tells you to wear that doesn't mean you get exemption, because I can't wear a full robe and cowl and carry a dagger because it's what I'm told by the Cult of Cthulhu.

How far will it go tho? What will they ban next? They don't stop christians wearing crosses.

Every state school in Blighty has a uniform and dress code, so I fail to see why anyone should get exemption.

Well at least they're still allowed to wear headscarves. France has banned them from schools entirely.
