bookfair
thank goodness for bookfairs. i got The Divide by Elizabeth Kay for around PhP80 from A Different Bookstore. The retail price? Php720. Wonderful, huh?
The Dragonsinger Trilogy of Anne McCaffrey was also there--and you can get the whole trilogy for PhP250. Of course I didn't get it anymore because I own it already, but still. It's a great find. Actually, that's all I saw because all too soon, the fair was closing for the night and we had to eat dinner (nako, josh. asan na ang libre namin?)
Bloo, Jing and I went to Rai Rai Ken beside CCP for dinner where Chattie and Jackie caught up with us. It's so nice that I can still see my college friends pretty often even though we don't work in the same place or anything. I miss our college days, but I can tell there are some fun times ahead of us, too.
When I get my money from Headstrong on Friday, guess where I'll spend it? Yep, the bookfair. I'll so be back.
