i dream of aswang
this morning, i woke up from the strangest nightmare. i was with some friends, travelling around in the province. we came into this house or something that kind of seemed like my lola's old house in cavite (sometimes it was just like it, but in a different place).
at first it was OK. but then later, there was an aswang standing in the corner in the dark. then it came into the light and came at us, but then when it saw me, it charged straight towards me! we all scattered around the room, but then it came at us again. then some ugly guy/girl came out and said that 3 of us had to be a sacrifice to the aswang, and that I was to be the first one.
of course, utter terror came over me and I tried to escape, but the aswang's helper person caught me (he/she was weirdly, scarily fast and strong). my friends were telling me na "determination lang yan", and besides, the aswang's helper was nowhere to be seen, so i tried another time. and of course, the aswang's helper came out of nowhere and started chasing me. shit. scary stuff.
i remember at one point trying to call my parents. i noted that the place was across a provincial highway from Shell and Pizza Hut, but not exactly where it was. i think i did call my mom but got her friend instead and i told her all about what was happening (and i was crying, too).
anyway, other details are somewhat woozy. but i do remember marky and denver walking into the room, without a care in the world. i was just going "uh oh. bad move. new blood." i also remember erika ang JP kind of consoling me, too.
oh. and the reason i was so terrified was cos there was a precedent. shortly before this particular dream started, i think i had another dream that my boss at work now got replaced cos he died, so he's not VP anymore. and ian didn't go into detail. then at the aswang's place, i was told that my boss was in the same position as i was, and that was why he was dead and why we had a new VP.
and then there was some detail about the aswang's helper not sure what to do with me cos she had to go to some taekwondo class (oh, and there was some sort of healing session in some town hall where the healer was the aswang's helper. this happens daw right before the sacrifice was to be held) and her friend derek from manila was coming over. for some reason, i was convinced that i knew this taekwondo derek from before and that i could enlist his help.
