OMG GUESS WHAT COMES OUT TOMORROW? The Strangers With Candy complete series boxset! SO EXCITED. SQUEEEEE!!!!!! *explodes*
*ahem* The trip to Ottawa was rather unproductive, but fun nonetheless. The information and registration session that I went to turned out to be half an hour of information on how to register for courses, then an hour and a half of free time to register while there was someone there to help you with any questions you might have. Which is really nice and everything, but not very useful, considering I'd already registered for all my courses. So I left early and my dad and I went to the Museum of Civilization instead.
Latkes are so delicious. We hardly ever eat them, which is a shame because they're one of my favourite foods. I'd been having cravings for them all week, so I finally caved in and made some from scratch for dinner tonight, despite the fact that there is mix hanging out on the top shelf of the pantry, next to the odd papaya muesli from Sweden that my dad eats. They were good. Very very good. Mmmmmlatkes.
Tomorrow is full of bathroom and kitchen cleaning. Woe. :(
(PS: Cynthia! Thursday or Friday I will come to school. Possibly both, depending on whether or not I can get a ride. And I will try to bring scrumptious baked goods as well :P)
Also: Our entire town went CRAZY when Italy won their soccer game today. So much flag-waving and car horn honking. Driving is kind of a scary enough experience without half the other cars on the road being driven by people who are waving a flag out of their car window with one hand and honking the horn with the other o_O *quietly cheers for Germany*
