Won't you come by and see me? (I'm a love letter away)
Finally the thunderstorms have stopped! It's still raining, but I think the sky has gotten tired of hurling down angry destruction for now. There was a point earlier when the sky went completely black, then lightning and thunder started happening at the exact same time, and then the power went off, and with the rain pounding down, it was really quite scary. Apparently there are tornadoes happening or supposed to be happening around here somewhere too. Eeeep. It least this should get rid of the meltingly hot weather we've been having the past couple of days. Seriously, the temperature is not supposed to get into the thirties (and forties!) in May. Save that for August, weather gods.
Kelly gave me a really nice ring today. I stole it from her in English class while she was trying to eat a chocolate chip muffin, and she just sort of gave it to me, saying it looked better on me. Which was a bit awkward, but sweet. It's suprisingly pretty for a piece of plastic with sparkles that is pretending to be an opal.
Tomorrow is my last day of high school. Exams start in earnest on Friday, and end next Thursday. Prom/Grad/Formal/Whatever the school is calling it is the Tuesday after that, and then graduation is on Thursday. w00t. Basically, two more weeks.
