Adventures in Rock Climbing
I decided to take a rock climbing class, just because I felt like learning something new. So far, here's what I learned.
1. I cannot climb a V1 +.
1a. Not even if I cheat.
1b. Not even if I cheat a lot.
2. Climbing instructor looks exactly like Yuffie from Final Fantasy. Must remember to investigate for evidence of ninja-like climbing skillz.
3. My hands hurt.
3a. Owie.
But today I matched on a V0 +, so I'm oh-so-proud of myself. Sure, I'm being out-climbed by young children, but who cares? I CAN CLIMB THE EASIEST BOULDERING PROBLEMS! w00t!
