From the desk of a colleague:

An employee in the Corporate Communications division of a leading German banking group today returned two files to us that I had translated, complaining that there were insurmountable formatting errors preventing her from editing the text.

The most severe of these problems was a large blank gap in the text that couldn't be deleted.

Obviously, my first thought was "what a fucking moron, it's probably just a page break that can be deleted by pressing one key." So you can just imagine my surprise and the egg on my face when in fact I was completely right, it was just a page break, and I deleted it by pressing just one key. Actually, I did it a couple of times, and then undid it, just so that other people could have a good laugh as well.

I also managed to solve the problem of "lines being too short" by touching those funny little arrows and moving the plastic thing with a wire coming out of it on my desk next to the thing that's like a typewriter but it doesn't have anywhere for the paper to go.
