life's a bitch
well this week has been fairly shitty. i have jury duty, a big excitement. or not. i go there at like 9 am and get like a 1.5 hour lunch then i stay til around 430. its not fun. i dont want to be there. i am so fidigety. i feel like i constantly have A.D.D. today i think i dropped my pen about 3 times cause i kept on playing with it and chewing on the cap. so tomorrow i'm bringing my own pen cause it looked as if somebody previously that was juror # 6 had also chewed on the pen. thats not sanitary.
and on top of that i have work. but works been ok. i didn't work today and i dont work tomorrow. so i'm getting paid 15 bucks for jury duty. so i'm making some money at least with that shit. but i had to ask for days off of work next week. which sucks. i want to work at pac sun and get my minimum wage, come on superior court of sonoma, 15 bucks a day doesn't cut it.
so today i learned about the physics behind a car crash and the biomechanics of the human body in its reaction to a car crash. i now know about the spine, specifically about spinal listhesis. and i dont give a shit about it. the "expert mechanical engeneer" said that the guy experienced 8.5 G force. (now that i research a bit on google, my best friend when it comes to search engines, 8 G's is typical to this case.) it seems a bit excessive. i hate lawyers for they are liars, or actually just present the material in about 100 different ways and manipulate it to the way they see fit in order to help them win thier case. i've heard the same things repeated by both sides,
what else... oh yeah i dont have a cell phone currently. i lost it last friday and haven't found it since. and my mom is being all dumb about it and won't let me get a new one yet. i mean come on i'm sorry i lost it. i'm paying for a new one. whats the big deal? i'm confused. its gay. hopefully i'll have one by this weekend if not sooner.
i also don't get any real vacation this summer. i guess it makes up for having the best summer ever last summer. traveling throughout europe for a month doesn't compare to being trapped in santa rosa, having jury duty, and having to have a job. i'll see if i can stay with my aunt in SF for a few days. that would be fun. i got a map of SF, so this time i visit her, i won't get lost trying to find her place. i want gps too for my car. i am always lost. seriously. ask anyone that i've ever gone anywhere with and they'll tell you i get lost everytime.
