PURA VIDA!
I had such a great time in Costa Rica over spring break with the family. Havn't laughed so much so hard in so long. Havn't been so scared so much in so long. Havn't felt the rush of adrenaline in so long. What an adventure. My favorites were learning to surf, white water rafting (and falling out of the raft), and hot air ballooning. It's such an amazing country and I'd go back any day. I didn't think about school, volleyball, college at all and now it's all hit me like a class 5 rapid.
Today, back at school, it's as if I'd never left. But then i remember the memories and it's amazing how much life you can live fully in so little time.
Now 2 weeks of cramming for APs, SAT IIs, college work, volleyball, coaching YMCA, summer (what i'm i gonna do??!!)
and then may when EVERYTHING happens: founders day, APs, SAT IIs, junior retreat, college meetings, end of season festivities, musicals, ceremonies, assemblies, and then....SUMMER.
well, i managed to put up banquet pictures on my website. still need to salvage the rivalry ones and costa rica ones. maybe in may i'll finally have time to put together my 2006 scrapbook. can you believe how fast time flies? and if we could only experience life with the sensations from a surf board or from a hot air balloon....if only....
