I'm back and I"m up.
BACK FROM AFRICA!!!!!!! It was the most fun and laughs i've had all summer and i miss it so much!!! we traveled with the harvard alumnai group (20 ppl, 8 kids from 11 years old to 17) and we all got really close to all the kids and our 5 guides were the best thing ever. the wildlife was amazing, incredible...the food was delicious...the camping was luxurious...the soccer game was the highlight of my life...the mosquitos and tsetse's failed to attack me...my clothes managed to retain their original color...and the weather was pleasant, despite location on the equator.
it took 3 days to get from serengetti out of tanzania to amerstandam to boston to sfo. finally i'm home. i miss everyone from the trip so much but there's another awesome family from los altos wiht a boy near alex's age and a 17 year old girl so we're getting to gether to watch lion king nad reminisce.
but it feels good to be able to drink water fromn the tap, eat salad, fruit, drink milk and juice and travel on roads that are smooth. and not have the clicking of the camera in my ear all day. and have a little peace. ok. no. too much peace. :(
but anyways, sounds like a lot has gone on while i was away....
rekha got back and got her liscense!!!! congrats!!! i can't believe you surpassed me!!!! it's my mom. dammit
cristina got in teen people!!!! effin amazing.
kelly's gone now but posted awesome spain pictures.
i havn't heard from bethany in ages!!! i don't even know her schedule...
olivia has disappeared into the black sea near romania.
cristina and andrea are in hawaii...correct me if otherwise.
and still i don't know anyone in my advisory :(
i always get stuck in advisories that suck.
oh and i got emails from spain people while i was gone...so i do now i'm loved. too late.
volleyball tryouts are on monday. having a major dilemma deciding which team to go for...bethany call me. i'm the most out of shape i've been in my life. i just started killer angels and still have not read harry potter, let alone buy it which is good i suppose cuz it eliminates the temptation.
i'm at home all today so give me a ring...
i'm gonna print all my pictures from spain and africa and put em in my photo album...and then remind me to bring it all for you when i see you....be excited. though someone (cough cough kelly, tess or suelyn or allison) has to teach me how to post pictures on this thing cuz i see how that's the cool thing to do now. and me, i'm too far behind to even try. no skill whatsoever.
i left a lotta comment's on everyone's old posts. so go back and check....i love you, that's why.
and final final thing.....thursday afternoon i leave for the annual chinese family camp for the weekend. (in moneterrey) but i promise, that is the last time i'll be out of the house for this summer. except santa cruz...which we all need to go to before school starts...maybe the day before school starts. that would be awesome.
