Alex should have known that they couldn’t even have one day as a normal married couple. Not that the wedding hadn’t been everything that he had been hoping for and more.
There was no reception (one of the downfalls of having no guests) but they settled on a club that had a live band.
“Uh, Gracie?” Alex said softly as he glanced over his shoulder.
“Hmm?” she murmured, nuzzling his neck as she swayed to the music.
“Forget it, I’m seeing things.”
“No, what?”
“Is it just me or does that drummer have fangs?”
She sighed. “Guess the honeymoon’s over.”
