Leaping into the air you don't know how you'll land.
That’s always been a sort of philosophy of mine. Take chances, risk it all, even, because you never know how something will turn out.
And yeah, sometimes you have no idea where you’ll land, or if you’ll land safely.
There are times I have no idea where I’m going, and that’s okay.
Sometimes I just hop in my car, pack a bag and go.
People were never meant to stay in one place for long.We were meant to explore.
No one place is that one place alone, it’s a mixture of everywhere else and the people that have visited.
I want to be like that. A mixture of everything I see. A goddess in silk kimono robes, eating sushi and listening to Blondie. Someone who could be unforgettable, in the good way. So I keep taking leaps, not caring what will happen if it isn’t a perfect landing, just as long as I land someplace new, somewhere I could learn something else.
Usually I’m the one making the leaps, taking chances, but tonight it’s him. The second his lips touch mine, I know I’m supposed to catch him.
So I did. The next few moments all faded into a blur.
I forget the rain pouring down, soaking us, and probably the carpet. I’m too caught up with the warmth of his lips on mine, the feel of his fingers sliding into my hair.
“Let’s get you out of those clothes,” I whisper.
He smiles. “Yeah, good idea.”
