Dan walked into the dingy hotel room with a full haul. There were Doritos and Powerade for him, Hostess cupcakes and gummy worms for Lola.
"Lola, I'm back!" he called. “I got you extra aspirin!”
The sound of the shower running told him not to bother, so he booted up his laptop, eager to see if he had any new emails from Kenzie. That's when he saw it; a plain white desktop (probably made in Paint) with three little words and a picture she had insisted Dan stay out of.
Lola Loves Sam.
She was never touching his laptop again.
