First, this fic was partly posted in plurk, dedicated to mienaihoshi because I like scaring her. Now, it's posted here completely, this time dedicated to kat8cha because she said she likes scaring people. Please read at your own risk (not really).
B1 edged closer to the headboard, his back almost against his pillow. "But B2, I thought...I thought you and Lulu are going out?"
"What are you talking about B1?" B2 said with disbelief. "Can't you read my mind? I'm only interested in you." He sat on the bed, just a few inches away from the other. "How can you even doubt me, B1?"
"I'm sorry. I just... When you and Lulu started going to town without me or the other bears, I thought you were becoming interested in her..." B1 looked away. "I couldn't accept it. I thought you were moving away from me."
B2 stroke the sad banana's face. "Don't be sad, B1. It's not true! I'm only here for you. Why else would I live with another banana? I could've just lived with the bears if I wanted to..."
"No..." B1 sadly sniffed. "You wouldn't fit in their house..." More sobbing ensued, with B2 comfortingly patting the other banana so it would stop crying. "I'm sorry, I'm so emotional, B2..."
"It's alright. I know you were a crybab--banana. Now stop crying, you're getting your pajamas wet."
"Yes..."
Just as B2 managed to make B1 stop crying, the door to the bedroom opened, revealing Lulu's shocked face. Behind her were Morgan and Amy. "B2, how could you?!" She raised a hand threateningly.
B1 immediately shielded the other banana from pain. "I'm sorry, Lulu! It's all my fault! It's---"
"After all the help we bears gave you, B2, you're only going to make B1 cry?" Lulu shrieked. "Did you know how much yellow jelly we made to celebrate your confession?"
B2 smiled sheepishly. "Uh, we were just getting to it, Lulu! Now get out of our room, you three!"
Upon realization, the three bears scurried out of the bedroom and went down the stairs, leaving B1 and B2 to attend to their problems like the intelligent, capable bananas that they are. At the rate those bananas are going, though, everyone might have gone bananas by the time they're okay.
