I like to influence others w/ my ships... Bwah ha ha!
I am like just like you ;)
There's another girl at work that I can "fangirl" (:D) with in RL but she always ships the couples I can't stand.
hahaha (sorry). I feel so identified! One of my closest friend considers herself a fangirl too (she is deeply involved in SPN fandom, really), but even though she gets what fandom means and the feelings associated with this phenomenon, she is not a shipper at all -she usually feels drawn to male characters relationships. Besides, she always dislikes my ships (hates Lee/Kara, for instance), and plainly rejects strong female characters (my personal weakness).
And as I told you, I consider myself lucky because my significant other gets -and shares with me- my geeky streak. We usually have really cool discussions. The shame is that he doesn’t ship. But hey, I consider myself lucky anyway ;)
Though I have gotten her to watch all three LOTR movies and am working on Harry Potter next
Hee! You are evil! ;) But hey, that is good stuff! (and not too nerdy ;)).
