All Hallows Eve 2009

Oct 30, 2009 21:22

Every year I carve a pumpkin. Last year it was Harry Potter Pumpkin, and the year before that I made a monster pumpkin eating a bunch of baby pumpkins (I carved them too early, they all rotted by Halloween. Fail.) This year I give you my Holiday Crossover: Frosty the Pumpkin!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Aw, that's so cute! :D
You have such fun traditions. I'm jealous. I can't carve a pumpkin here. :(

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Thank you, sweetie!!

Aw, do you not carve pumpkins in your neck of the woods? That makes me sad-it's so fun-I look forward to it every year! Then once it's carved, I sprinkle cinnamon inside the shell and light the candle, it makes the house smell so good!

No, my country is boring. :( I need to move to some place far away.

Aw that sounds awesome! :D

Hee, I'm sure your country isn't boring. I bet it has lots of tradition we don't have. (Though I am totally in love with ours. I'm biased like that, LOL.) Seriously though, Halloween marks the beginning of my favorite time of year. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas-it's too wonderful!! (I'm a freak for the holidays XD)

Trust me, it is. We don't have any tradition like yours. Most of us don't even feel at least a bit of patriotism, which is sad. I wouldn't mind taking another nationality. In fact, I'd love it. :)

For some reason I love Thanksgiving. I don't know why, I've never celebrated it. But it seems so wonderful and I love that you get together and make delicious food. I'd really like to be a part of it someday. And of course there's Black Friday the next day. That is heaven. xD

Ok, now I honestly feel bad. I'd like to think I am very patriotic. And I admit that I ADORE my country and honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere else, ever. I just want to adopt you and bring you here right now and share my love!! (And on thr flipside, you would be sharing your awesome with the people here-win/win!)

Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday. I celebrate it twice, once with all my single friends and once with my family. There's food and football and love and gratitude. Plus, you don't have to shop for everyone like you do Christmas so it's more relaxing. (I love to shop but it can get stressful during the holidays.)

Oh, man. Black Friday. Every year I say I won't go out in it and then I totally do :D

I think it's great that you love your country, I wish I felt the same way about mine, but it's completely the opposite.
Please adopt me! It's my dream to live in the US. I need to find a way to get a permission of residence (I want to live there legally of course :D).

I would be one of those who starts queuing at 5am. Haha.

If I could adopt you, I totally would!! I truly, truly hope you fulfill that dream-I know I'm biased but I think you would be very happy here. (Plus, you already use better English then I do (LOL, It's true) so you're already set!

I've done that a few times, but more often than not I sleep in because I'm enjoying the day off from work and then I end up going out at noon when it's really bad and wanting to tear my hair out but also kind of loving it too because there's christmas music and decorations and I'm a sucker for those, LOL.

Thanks, I hope so too. I think I'd be happy there, I know I need a change and the US is my first choice. :)

Even your Christmas is better. It's all snowy and cold and everything is so beautifully decorated. Winter is so more appropriate to celebrate it than the horrible heat we have to bear every year.

Well, if it makes you feel any better-I live in north Texas, so even though it gets cold, it hardly ever snows. I've lived in several different states where it DID snow though and I completely agree-nothing beats a white Christmas!

A white Christmas is the best thing ever. ;)

Aw now I want to read a very AU story of pilots and white Christmas. Heh. Do you know if there is any?

I don't...but then I'm not very well versed in K/L fan fiction yet-I tend to go off other folks recs. We should totally find out though in time for the holidays! (Or maybe convince someone to write some, wee!)
