Have you guys ever seen this? I read it quite a while ago, and my brother just reread it from a link on his Fb wall yesterday apparently, which reminded me how awesome it was.
Pokémon Explained: The 'Ash is in a Coma' Theory Kind of depressing, lolol, but egads, it makes so much sense.
Feel free to be nerdy about your pop culture, guys 8D.
And a recent (re)discovery - the Firebird series (by JCJaquez) is coming back up online! If you read FictionPress or like fiction at all, I highly recommend this - it's more or less my favourite story from my FP-lurking days. Through some complicated turns of events, I managed to coincidentally save a copy of the old Firebird before it got taken down by the author to be
edited and whatnot, but I'm so glad it's coming back up after all this time. The edited version is a lot more streamlined (at least in what I've read of the ten chapters that're up so far) and a bit more technologically advanced, but it's still essentially the same story that captivated me three years ago. Basically, (feisty) Spanish princess gets kidnapped by a mysterious crew of six Russian boys for possibly political reasons; Stockholm Syndrome eventually ensues. Set in a sort of futuristic world, action/adventure with hints at romance. Probably the most emotionally-invested I've ever been in a FP story. Intrigued at all?
Chapter one is kind of weird and prologue-y, but I guess we'll ~find out~ later. Happy Thanksgiving weekend, if you're celebrating!
