I just spent the last 45 minutes on the phone with my cousin while all four of us (he and I + our siblings) tried to coordinate the packing for our "camping" trip. I say "camping" loosely because there are cabins equipped with DVD players involved, but there's also much frisbee-losingplaying, etc. and a campfire with which the pyromaniacs among us have way, WAY too much fun, if we can hack it. The annual 4-family trip kind of exploded this year, and there're now 30+ people going, at last count, which leaves us about 10 kids to play Cranium (which we've become addicted to since last year) 8D. If you know the game, I predict much bad blind drawing, horrible sculpture skills ("sausage? log? finger? WTF IS THAT. sausage?"), and lolworthy charades (e.g. my second cousin acting out "childbirth" on his own, lmao) in the near future.
So yes, as you've probably gathered, my cousins and I (at least) are very excited about this trip, and I won't be around for a couple of days 8D.
I was at UBC today with Izzy and Mel to resolve our respective textbook, UBCard and UPass woes, and I'm still stuck with a bunch of poetry books the bookstore won't take back, gah. I need to find someone to share my iclicker woes with, too, because I don't want to spend $35 on something I'll only use for my two science courses o_o.
Izzy, are we still marathoning the rest of Cowboy Bebop Friday?
edit; was just loading stuff into car with family. my dad was about to strap the
mahjong table to the top of the car, which would have led to brian's and my eternal asian shame, homg T_T. thankfully, it didn't fit.
