It's been awhile
I was caught by surprise by the sudden day off bestowed on me today, which means...I have a long weekend! =D Sadly, I have no plans. But, I will make good use of sleeping in. *drools*
So Halloween...can I just say that it was awesome? My friends and I decided to dress up this year, and there was one point that it seemed like we weren't going to do it anymore. The enthusiasm was dropping, and I felt helpless. But really, my friends are amazing. At the end, each and every one of them pulled it off. Even the people I expected least from stepped up their game and surprised me. We didn't really go anywhere in our costumes, but I know that what we did was more fun than anything else that we could've gone to.
On another note, a recent incident happened to someone I knew, and although I didn't know her well, it really got me thinking. You really don't know what can happen tomorrow, so it is important you cherish each person around you that you care about. It's just sad that sometimes, it's these tragic incidents that serve as a reminder. It's just scary. My prayers go out to her family.
Have you ever had the experience of befriending someone you never thought you would become good friends with? Things are unpredictable like that. It's been good. I feel like I have another good friend now, and although it's still not certain whether our friendship is that stable, I'm taking it as it is for now. Sometimes, you just need a person you haven't really talked to before to keep your mind off of things you associate with when talking to people you usually talk to.
I haven't really read horoscopes in awhile, but I was given this to read (thanks Iris!) and boy, is it accurate!!!
