That reminds me...Sometime this weekend, I have to sit outside in an autumnal setting for a half an hour while reading Keats's "To Autumn" ten times and memorizing the first stanza as part of a poetry assignment.

Yay! So you met Laura and Todd? They are mah bestest friends :) Laura did disease surveillance for the black-footed ferret reintroduction. She was probably too modest to say so though.

MacGregor Ranch is awesome, they are quite supportive of lion research :)

the fall is quite beautiful here, I do have to give the east coast that!

Yay zoo! and Yay WOLF! Have fun!!! :D

I hope you enjoyed WOLF and the Zoo. I wonder if Pat and Frank at WOLF remember me and my friend who used to volunteer there all the time but then got too busy. I worked at the Denver Zoo for three years as a combination of volunteering and a job and it's one of my favorite places in Denver although I love the museum as well. A lot of my friends are keeper interns there and luckily they keep me in the loop.

I have another friend in the Wildlife Society, she's a junior and she's really nice.

Enjoy all the free time while you can before you start getting into your major's capstone courses. Because all free time goes out the window. At least the ones in my major take twice as much time as classes have for me in the past. *Sigh* I wish I had time to go hiking on the weekends instead of being so burned out from classes and having to do more studying... :P

:D

Did you get to see the baby zebra at the zoo and the baby snow leopards? One of the baby snow leopards is named after one of my friends who work there. :D

Yeah, I was afraid things were going to get worse! I'm hoping I'll still be able to graduate early.
Robbie was so cute!! And the zebra was adorable too :) I'll have to go back another day when it isn't so crowded though.
