I BELIEVE IN ME

Some kind of happiness came from nowhere when I listen to lynch.'s new album [I BELIEVE IN ME]!!

I'm happy.♪

Probably will update this entry with proper review of the album later.♪
YOSH, I'm done with my review. xD I'm gonna skip [INTRODUCTION].

UNTIL I DIE
This track has a heavy sound, but it's still quite easy listening. I think it's suitable as an opening full track indeed. It has very interesting combination of rhythm guitar and bass--this sound is somehow quite "new" to me. From this track, I think I get to know Akinori's style, as lynch.'s new bassist. I really like his bass-style in this track. And do I need to mention about Hazuki's vocal. It's flawless as usual.

I BELIEVE IN ME
This is the title song. I did write some review about this song before. The beginning of the song isn't very catchy; but starting from the middle part; from 1'12 - 1'57, I love it. I can hear Asanao's double pedals clearly. Reo and Yusuke inserted a very nice guitar sound combination; it sounds solid, mature and enjoyable. During 1'48, their guitar combination is an "ice-breaker" after the static guitar riffs. It gave an ascending feeling, thus it made my tension higher. It has almost the same "atmosphere" with [UNTIL I DIE], but [I BELIEVE IN ME] is less easy listening. However, the more I listen to it, the more enjoyable it is--especially the guitar part.

JUDGEMENT
This song is probably my all-time favorite of this album. It probably doesn't really have a certain unique part (to me, at least), but at the same time it's a song that I can remember immediately. I've been liking it since the single release. Heavy with a lot of scream, but it has a quite "smooth" chorus. Hazuki's voice when singing the chorus part is just hard to be ignored, I always want to sing along. The tempo of this song is just nice. The guitar solo sounds quite nice, followed by nice thick bass solo.

LIE
The guitar intro is flowing nicely. Even from the beginning I can guess that this song is a bit slow and melodious. I really like the beginning part where Hazuki starts singing his first line. The chorus is somehow mild and easy listening as well. Starting from 1'47 - 2'11, Hazuki inserted his awesome growl along with heavy music. The sound gap is actually great. This is one of my fave tracks.

The intro says it all. This song is full of heavy growl, scream and also violent music and drums tempo. At first it's not that easy to follow, but you definitely can enjoy headbanging with this song. However, some parts are truly amazing. Starting from 1'19 to 1'57, I really enjoy the ascending feeling of solo drums followed by both guitar, bass and Hazuki's husky whispering voice--the individuality of each sound blends into one, and it's cool!

THIS COMA
After the previous violent song, this song sounds really calm with light tempo and music. At the beginning, the tune isn't so easy to follow, though. It sounds pretty static and probably slightly dull; but still has the noticeable "lynch.'s sound" in it.

SCARLET
Even before listening to the song, I like the title. It starts with a violent scream, followed by quick tempo. It has a good balance between Hazuki's normal vocal and scream. I noticed Akinori's nice and mild bass here. There're not many parts that I can comment, but overall this song is enjoyable once I finally caught the whole tune.

ALL THIS I'LL GIVE YOU
And old track, but not the boring one definitely. In fact, I like the nostalgic feeling from it. Hazuki sings violently here, making it one heavy and dark track. All guitar parts are nice and perfect. I think it's a bit different from the old version; Hazuki added some new vocal parts and it put this song into completion. The chorus, as usual, sounds softer and Hazuki's voice is just really great from the start until the end.

TIAMAT
Another heavy song with a lot of growl and scream. IMO it's a bit different from the usual song that lynch. composed. The guitar riffs and melodies are interesting. I'm not used to it, but I kinda like the 'dark' feeling that comes from it. New, but pretty interesting. The drums tempo changed at one part, where I can feel another 'dark' sensation from it.

BEFORE YOU KNOW IT
It's a slow song, but in fact it's the darkest. Hazuki's vocal sounds like in pain here, but still truly beautiful. I'd say this song is perfect for a horror movie's theme song. Even just by following every tune and breath that Hazuki sings, I feel the gloomy atmosphere. The music makes it even deeper. There's a short part of simple solo guitar melodies which sounds beautiful and sad at the same time. This song really left a deep impact.

A GLEAM IN EYE
This song was released as a single before. I like the guitar intro, though the most notable part of this song is still the chorus part. Hazuki's voice always makes the chorus part of each song memorable, I guess. This track is also a bit different from the old version, I guess the album version is more easy listening and the new arrangement is quite interesting.

Jaa~ ijou! ♪♪♪
