MATH HELP PLEASEEEEEEE
I just need help setting up the equations and such D:
Subsitution/ Elimination

Rani is comparing the monthly costs from two Internet service providers. Netaxes charges a flat monthly fee of $10, plus $0.75 per hour spent on-line. Webz charges a flat monthly fee of $5 plus $1 per hour

Let x rep hours spent online.
Let y rep monthly price.

Netaxes equation:
0.75x + 10 = y
webz equation:
x + 5 = y

so isolate x in the webz equation and sub it into the netaxes one. I'm sure you understand that part but ifnot, ask when I wake up.
So when you find out what the y and x are, then that's the point of intersection.
The x coordinate is when the monthly cost will be the same if I remember correctly. (#of hours)

now for b, you just sub in 30 for x into both equatons. Whichever equation has a lower value of y is the better choice.

I'll explain the second equation tomorrow, time to sleep for real. XD
