Full Circle

Soon I will finally finish college, leaving my education behind with an MA in Translation & Interpreting and a small batch of dubious other qualifications (computer assisted translation, B2 levels in German, minor experience in a plethora of jobs).

Do I feel accomplished? A bit. Maybe more. Basically, I decided that if I have to choose, I'd rather be a bit proud of myself for getting this far, rather than do the usual "I should've done things differently" crap I do.

I guess that means I'm progressing in more areas than one. All evidence points to that - I'm slowly ridding myself of my procrastination habit (this year was an even mix of very productive and very unproductive weeks, with the meter pointing towards the productive side), I'm eating healthier (I make salads, I bake meat in sleeves instead of frying), I'm working on my concentration and I developed a habit which I have been missing ever since I finished high school: getting up early. Like 5:30-6:00AM early. It's still some way to go to my father's lifelong 5:00AM record, but I'm getting there.

Professional skills, life skills, social skills and some savings in Euros. People have started their post-college life with worse, so my future's looking pretty bright. I should probably finally tell you guys that I will be moving to Spain this Autumn. I feel it's time to move in with Anna and start working my way up in this wild, wild world we call Western Europe.

So if you have some tips on living in Spain, now would be a good time to drop them on me. ;)

Still, before that, I'm going to spend some time in Poland, getting a driver's licence and waiting for my degree. I'm leaving on the twentieth, right after I drop my vote in the presidential elections off at the consulate. Yeah, I started college during the presidential elections, I will be finishing it on them, too.

Pose as a team, cause shit just went full circle.
