Update Roll~
It's been a busy week for me, although I'm considered eternal freedom until this Friday~ XD
1. After starving my wallet for 2 months and selling off items, I FINALLY got my white boots for Asta!!! <3333 The boots feel very comfortable to walk in, unlike my previous boots of that length, so it's DOUBLE LOVE!
>I still have to work on the boots (the front shinguard piece, button blings, lace, etc), but at least now I have a proper base! YES!!! There's a lot that I still have to work on - costume detailing, wig styling, hat, shoulder armour, antique-ing, and the Tongkat of Doom (as quoted by sky_pegasus) so I hope I'll be able to finish it and do it justice one day! Yosh!!!
2. I got a job!!! I start on 1st February as a visualiser/concept artist for women's bags (more to the travel/sports/tote kinds).
I would be responsible for producing 8 new designs every month...I hope I can survive this industry *prays hard*
>Some of you already know this, the bad news is that I got an email from Leo Burnett requesting my resume and portfolio on the same day I signed my contract form! DDDDX I'm praying I get a reply from this company, I would only need to pay back RM350 to the bag company if I get the job from LB. (I somehow knew this would happen...uurgh! If only LB had mailed me a day earlier!!!)
[EDIT] - I didn't get the call T__T Oh well at least I still have a job. :<
3. Attended the CF AGM - Will be under Photography Dept, as Assistant to Dusty until he leaves.
4. After the AGM, carneaglariel her collection of Swan to read - I AM BEING SHOUJO-FIED! *w* It really reminds me of Princess Tutu, only with more pika pika and details~ The art is superbly pretty pikapikapika and the guys still don't look gh3y eventhough they are not Gar! *__________*
My childhood dreams of being able to learn ballet is reignited! I seriously twirled around my house after reading 5 books in two days...SANKYUU JACKEEEEEEE! *does a temp leve and doubles*
4. Worked on my friend's prop commision - a pirate hat! My sewing skills are not 1337, and I used glue to stick certain parts XD Only the top of the hat is sewn. Felt is pretty nice to work with! (And I know skypeg prefers working with satin cos she said it's easier...LOL!)
5. I also started on mistressnaoko's art commision the moment she gave me the description XDXD Her character just popped out of my head and my pencil just guided my hand...it's been quite some time since I felt like that <333 Thank you chocolime
for inspiring me with Seramyu vids (I have to say I really like Black Lady Signal *O*)
6. This will be my first time having a booth at GACC!!! I'll be joining forces with my dear elderg,_deru and bishielord...look out for us! We are going to sell prints, fanarts, and some very special merchandise (those of you who know, HUSH! Don't spoil the surprise!)
I am nervous, scared of under-performing...guess I'll head off to sleep to get rid of these feelings. Pictures of items upon request or if I have time, I'll post them here >__<
