Looking at the date on my last entry, it seems I'm letting myself slip quite a way behind with this thing... The hazards of leading such an interesting life, I suppose- I have far, far, too many things to post about. Joke :P
Anyway, the thing currently sucking the life out of me is a game called Ragnarok Online. RO (or oRO, Oceanic Ragnarok Online, as the game I'm participating in is called) is one of them horribly addictive MMORPG thingies- the equivalent of Crack with a keyboard. I've lost track of how many hours I've spent playing, but I think I have yet to break out of the first forty hours they give you, to get you hooked ("try some... it's good for ya"), and into the time I've actually paid for (the pricing is very reasonable, I've found, and as a bonus supports online bank transactions- a must for those of us without credit cards). The gameplay is not dissimilar to Diablo, and there are plenty of friendly folks online to interact with, and interesting things to do :)
So, who wants to come play with me? The first few rocks are free, and it'll make you feel reeeeal good... *shows CD-Roms hanging inside trenchcoat* Okay, enough with the Crack metaphor- I'm pretty sure Everquest has that one sown up anyway :P
If anyone is already playing, drop me a line, or look me up in game. If there are new players starting, contact me, and I can show you the ropes, where to go, what not to do (read: what not to attack) as a newbie, etc :). I tend to be in the game between about 7 and 10-11 most nights. My character name is (surprise surprise) Minouris :)
