The fridayfiver is AWOL, and so is my new cell phone which was supposed to arrive "within two business days" of late on Monday. So even if not processed till Tuesday, I should have got it yesterday. @#$%!
Plus the voice mail on my office phone keeps telling me there are no messages, but that's only since it never picks up. The marvels of modern technology, I tell you.
I saw Jill today! She said she was playing hooky from work, where, "what they don't hurt won't know them." Ah! Spoonerism nostalgia. Coincidentally, Rob is here too, so it was like a class reunion (in grad school, the number of students/year/department is rather low).
So faunalia has to work quite late tonight and is trying to discourage reynardin from going to see the latest 007 without her, so I think we're re-scheduling to Sunday. If any of you would like to join us, call reynardin, the one with the most effective telecommunications abilities (oh, the shame! to be worse off than having R's supercraptacular so-called cell).
