Using fabric bought at Snoflake and Dagg and Stacey's FABRIC SALE (coincidentally co-located with faunalia & reynardin's building) I made this ocean-themed pillow in jewel tones. The seahorse is block printed on royal blue and the radiolarians are block printed on green silk. The fuscia corner is ultrasuede. The back is this lovely woven silk in turquoise, green, gold and chocolate (from the same source) with which I also re-upholstered my found chairs, the same fuscia ultrasuede with red pin-striped cotton block printed label and a patterned cotton patchwork.
Minouette, the heat-seeking cat, is reacquainting herself with her old friend, the radiator. She is an equal opportunity lover of warmth, and for variety she moves from rad to rad throughout the day. Sometimes I find myself envious of the lifestyle of this feline.
