Two votes for mac and cheese (has to be Kraft dinner!) with tuna. Can't have it any more, but yah, that's comfort food all right.

I love my homemade chicken noodle soup or chicken & dumplings on cold wet days. A friend makes awesome German potato soup that would be perfect as well.

Hmm, chicken & dumplings - I haven't had that since I was kid. I don't know if I even remember how to make it.

If you're cooking for one person or a couple, you may want to halve all measurements/quantities...
