I picked up The Zookeeper, a gay novel, at the library - the cover looked interesting and it sounded good. I get a few pages in, and the main character is named Sam. I get a few more pages in, and he meets his new romantic interest.... who's named Dean.

Now I can't see it as anything other than an SPN!AU, and it's just not working. Sorry, Alex.
