Obligatory 9/11 post
This may seem strange to some, but I feel like the best way to observe an anniversary of this sort is to try and keep my memory of it as sharp as possible. Because of this, I tape news broadcasts of what I consider to be big events. I have live broadcasts on tape of the Princess Diana coverage, death of the Pope, other things, and of course 9/11.
Along those same lines, the way I observe today is to go to Fark.com and read the comments from the events of that day. I find it both fascinating and moving reading people's conversations as what was happening was realized and unfolded. I highly reccomend it, because you'd be suprised what little things people were talking about that day that you've forgotten.
