An update, finally!
I just realized I next to never update this thing. Nor my xanga for that matter either, unless it's with a frivolous survey or something.
Nevertheless, take this as a public service reminder to tip your local waitress!! Yes indeed. For those who are not in the know, I've been occupying a good amount of my time since graduation waitressing. To say it's a thankless job would be an understatement. I'm not sure what it's like in other places, but where I work two to three waitresses/waiters do everything from arranging the food to answering phones to the accounting to serving you to preparing take-out dishes and some of the more simpler dishes to cleaning the bathrooms to bussing the tables. And at the end of the day, to find that table 5 who you bent your back backwards for left no tip at all is kind of an affront to the service and ignoring the presence of the people who are making your food happen. We're nice people really. And there's nothing more demoralizing to find that people are either so miserly or mean as to ignore common ettiquette.
On the other hand, if you live in my area, come by and visit me! I'm working at Forbidden City on Marconi and Eastern and am allowed to share my 20% discount.
