Last night was pretty cool. Bea came round at about 9 and it was already dark by then so we were both like 'Hmm, let's not sleep outside anymore'. So instead I made chocolate milkshake with this new cappucino frother type thing we have and it was quite nice, actually. We watched the Good Girl then which is so not the film I thought it'd be but I quite liked it all the same. It's inspired me to write something, anything, and hello, Jake Gyllenhaal. What else has he been in?

Today Bea straightened my hair for me with the new ceramic straighteners that Ger gave me. Pretty cool. Then we went into town and I was meant to buy a battery for the camera that Neil gave me yesterday, bless him, so I went to Boots and got one but then when I got to Neros and was trying to put it in it was the wrong size. So I went back and tried to exchange it but I couldn't 'cause I'd already opened it, so Bea offered to buy the new one for me on her Advantage card since we had no cash left [they cost like £7] but apparently you're not allowed for some fucked up reason so I'm left here with a new camera that doesn't work and £7 worse off.

Other than that, it was a pretty good day. I brought two travel CD holders, and me and Bea brought matching bracelets from Claire's. I saw loads of people I knew too. First we saw Clare and some guy who I recognised but wasn't Steve, her boyfriend. We saw them loads in fact. Sarah was on my bus. Then Walker and Rex were on Abington Street and Walker kept hugging me loads 'cause he found out I was leaving. Whoa. Joseph, [a different] Clare, Andrew and Sadie were all on Abington Street, too. Saw Kayleigh too which was cool 'cause I spoke to her about getting copies of her photos from camp -- apparently the one I took of Robson and Gilkes at the barbecue came out really well so I'm looking forward to seeing that. And I saw a lot of other random people too.

I feel really tired and achey. We ended up sleeping on my study floor with just roll mats and sleeping bags, so that may explain it. It was like being on exercise again, except indoors and not with cadets. So not really like being back on exercise at all. Oh well.

My mum's just got home.
