i recently read "unequal childhoods" for my american family class and i highly recommend it to all you guys. besides being highly thought provoking and worthy of a CAP discussion, it also helped explain a lot of things i've noticed in society/people around me. basically, really interesting main points, if explained a bit tediously.
also, i need media literacy. i realized this the other day when we watched a film that was basically my IDRP topic and i literally was shocked into silence for awhile by the things people were saying and how much they didn't understand. ugh. i need some solid, thought provoking analysis, deep discussions, anything.
in other news, evaluations are occuring. its rough.
