A DEAD GIVEAWAY
Two Chinese take away boxes from ‘Use Your Noodle’ sat on the table. That in itself was unusual as Regulus usually bought from ‘Wun Hung Lo’. They were just around the corner, they made his number seventeen just the way he liked it and he always got a laugh out of the name.
The lipstick on one of the chopsticks was only a shade or two darker than the design of the pagoda on the box. Rabastan had thought there was someone else in their relationship. He knew it wasn’t another male… Regulus often smelt of sweet perfume. Something that not even the most flamboyant of gay men would use. And this lipstick colour was hideous. Cheap.
He almost wished The Dark Lord hadn’t recalled him, Rodolphus and Bellatrix from their killing spree to Eastbourne. Suspecting something was one thing but now that he knew, he’d have to do something about it. And all he wanted was Firewhisky and a bath.
He pushed open the bedroom door.
A very attractive blonde girl lay on her side cuddling his lover. Regulus shifted in his sleep, tenderly drawing her closer.
“Avada Kedavra.” Murmured twice, the hatred behind the words making them work.
