“It is no laughing matter,” Phineas spat, “yet nothing to scoff at either. But in my day, it had to be kept very quiet. Having a witch on the side was expected, yet a wizard….” He winked at the portrait. “That was something else.”
Phineas disappeared from his portrait, showing up next to the gorgeous wizard in the new painting. “This is my… side project, Jared.”
Jared jumped and looked back. Phineas smiled deviously as his wizard blushed beet red.
“Phineas!” Minerva scolded, “behave like an adult.”
